Set up a combined activity instead of asking for a date outright

By Fabrizio Rausa

One of the most effective ways to move a conversation forward is to plant the seed of a shared activity rather than bluntly asking for a date. When a woman mentions something she does, tie yourself into it naturally. In Fabrizio Rausa's example, a woman mentioned meditating, and he said, 'When you come back to Canggu, you teach me, okay?' That one line creates a mental image of the two of them doing something together, which lowers her anxiety and almost manifests the meetup inside the conversation itself. What you should never do is talk to her endlessly and then suddenly drop the hammer with a date proposal. The combined activity approach feels natural, not transactional.
