Moving to Tasmania gave Edu Pou freedom to collaborate with anyone in the world
A personal decision to move to Tasmania turned out to be professionally transformative for Edu Pou. Because he was no longer anchored to a specific city or office culture, he was free to work with whichever collaborators he found most exciting, wherever they happened to be. The Toyota Hy Project is one direct result of that freedom: it came from a partnership with a team he describes as 'crazy people that I love' from Mercado McCann (referred to as 'murder away' in his telling), a team he says he would not have ended up working with had he remained in a more conventional location.
