You can't teach AI your voice if you haven't discovered it yourself through writing

By Greg Isenberg

Preferences like which adjectives you favor, what rhythm feels natural to you, which sentence structures resonate — these are things you can only discover by actually writing. If you haven't done the work to find out what you prefer, you have no data to give an AI. It's like expecting someone to cook your favorite meal before you've ever tasted enough food to know what you like. This is the unmade dataset problem: the inputs that would make AI output feel personal simply don't exist yet because the person hasn't put in the reps to generate them.
