Being non-judgmental is key to getting a woman to open up to you

By Fabrizio Rausa

Fabrizio Rausa points out that when a woman shares something personal, including her past or habits you might find uncomfortable, and you react with visible disgust or judgment, you immediately close the door on real intimacy and honesty. He describes a friend who visibly showed disgust when a girl mentioned doing cocaine, and explains that reaction is a mistake. When a woman tells you something vulnerable, like a past one-night stand she shared with Fabrizio, it actually signals she sees you as a safe, non-judgmental presence. Nothing makes a person resent you faster than being judged. He ties this back to childhood psychology: even when a parent logically explains why something is wrong, the child still feels bad because they did not arrive at that conclusion themselves. The same dynamic applies in adult relationships.
