Remote work with large teams: still figuring it out, but pushing together
Edu Pou had previously worked face-to-face with hundreds of people, and transitioning to fully remote collaboration across large groups was a significant shift. His honest assessment, shared in April 2022, was that the company was still figuring out what it was doing. There was a lot of experimentation and trial and error. But compared to other places where he had worked, where there was fragmentation or internal resistance, his team was pushing together. Time differences were a constant pain, but everything else could be worked around through constant change and adaptation. The willingness to figure things out collectively was what kept the project moving.
