Black+Decker portable washing machine for laundry on a sailboat
Lauren Landers Sailing does laundry aboard using a Black+Decker compact portable top-load washing machine stored in a boat locker. The unit has a digital timer readout and program buttons and sits neatly in the storage space, though she notes that area has gotten crowded since she added two extra sails. With full water tanks from running the water maker nonstop, doing multiple loads of laundry is a practical way to cycle through the stored water so the maker can continue producing more.
