Buying content assets is worthless without the infrastructure to leverage them

By Greg Isenberg

The value of a content library or data asset isn't intrinsic — it depends entirely on what you can do with it. If a company buys a writer's entire catalog but lacks the operational infrastructure to scale it and squeeze all the juice out of it, that was a horrible decision. The asset only becomes valuable when you have the machine in place to reswizzle, remix, post, chop, cut, and paste it into your broader content marketing operation.
