Being yourself only works if you have already done the inner work

Fabrizio Rausa adds an important caveat to the "be yourself" message: if your current self is operating on a broken mindset, simply being yourself will not help you. You need to change your mindset and upgrade your operating system first. Once you have done that work, stop suppressing yourself and stop chasing celebrities or trying to become someone else. Celebrity worship, in his view, has become a damaging cultural trend that pulls people away from their own identity.
