Why most organizations are functionally blind to themselves

By Greg Isenberg

Even people who were in the board meetings can't recall the strategy from two years ago. Even founders can't remember who just got hired two weeks ago. That's not a personal failure — it's a structural one. There's so much going on, and everyone's doing their own thing, and when you multiply that across n number of teams and people at a bigger company, you're essentially blind to the organization. The context layer is the fix for that. It literally allows you to see everything — not everything in an exact, perfect sense, but enough to stop wondering, stop sending 14 messages, and stop waiting days for answers you should already have.
