Use tiered pricing on your landing page to create urgency

By Greg Isenberg

One effective strategy for a service-based business is to structure your pricing in tiers directly on your landing page. For example, list 'four spots only at $800 a month, then it goes to $1,200 a month, then four spots there, and then $1,600 a month.' The key insight is that any offer — especially in services — needs some sense of urgency, or else people simply don't act. The urgency can come from the AI wave being top of mind for everyone right now, but that alone won't make someone hire you specifically. Sometimes they hire you because of your reputation, sometimes because they met you at a meetup and trust you, and sometimes it's purely because $800 a month feels like a fair price and they don't want to risk paying $1,200. Tiered pricing taps into all three motivations at once.
