To compete with agents, you'll work more not less — and half of it from your phone
One of the uncomfortable truths about working with AI agents at scale is that in order to survive in this new world, you're going to work a lot more, not a lot less. Agents don't stop when you step away, which means you need to be reachable and decisive constantly. That means going cloud — your infrastructure has to be accessible from anywhere — and it means you'll be making high-stakes calls from your phone half the time. It's tiring, but it's like going to the gym. You're exercising a new muscle you never had to develop before: the ability to make rapid, high-quality judgment calls all day long. If you don't build that muscle, you won't be able to compete.
