The Agent Command Center: a fleet of AI agents mapped to job roles

By Greg Isenberg

The future of work, in one image, is an Agent Command Center — a single operator overseeing a fleet of agents handling Customer Intel, Content Production, Competitive Research, Lead Enrichment, Inbox Triage, M&A Diligence, and more. A terminal-style dashboard tracks each agent's runs, cost, quality score, last run time, and health status across the whole fleet. One real example showed 26,052 total runs at a cost of $1,379. The striking thing is that agents are converging on purposeful roles that almost exactly map to the job roles humans were playing — making the transition both familiar and fundamentally rethought at the same time.
