How to find industrial catalog clients: the worse the marketing, the better
To find clients for an industrial catalog-to-sales-collateral service, start with one vertical — commercial kitchen equipment or dental lab supplies are good examples — and learn the terminology. Thomasnet lists hundreds of thousands of manufacturers and suppliers categorized by industry, and trade show exhibitor lists are another ready-made prospect database. The signal to look for is a product with a high price tag, detailed technical specifications, a product page with three blurry photos, and no useful video. The rule of thumb: the worse the marketing relative to the price of the equipment, the stronger the potential client.
