Hermes Artifacts feature automatically organizes your links, images, and files

By Greg Isenberg

Artifacts is a feature in Hermes that puts all your images, files, and links in one place automatically. A lot of people have been trying to MacGyver their AI agent into a 'second brain' — saving inspiration links, cool websites, useful tools — by manually telling the agent to file things away in specific categories. Artifacts makes that largely automatic. You can drop a link into your librarian agent without even giving it instructions, hit send, and then come to the Artifacts view later to find everything neatly organized. You can search across all your saved links (type 'Reddit' and it surfaces all Reddit links, for example), browse images and media you've created or shared, and find any files exchanged with your agent. It's a centralized, searchable repository that productizes the second-brain concept — the platform likely saw how power users were organizing things manually and built a clean, visual system around it. The overall Hermes desktop experience feels more Apple-esque compared to the raw OpenClaw interface: more polished, more intentional.
