Frame cold outreach with a 'worst case, you still win' pitch
When doing cold outreach for AI consulting, frame the offer so the worst-case scenario is still a win for the prospect. Something like: 'Worst case, you learn one or two tools you've never heard of. Best case, you have a partner who can build skills and handle all the AI stuff that's been sitting on your to-do list.' When people hear that framing, they think, 'You're right, I have nothing to lose.' Making the downside attractive removes the friction that kills most cold outreach.
