30-day plan to become a marketing engineer from scratch
If you want to develop marketing engineering skills over the next 30 days — whether as an employee, founder, or consultant — the plan breaks into four weekly milestones. Week one is an audit: pick one real company, whether your own, a friend's, or whatever you can get access to, and map what's actually happening with their marketing data and pipeline. Week two is building the Growth OS: create the folder structure and populate it with real customer signals. Week three is shipping one machine — actually deploying one agent or automated system that does a specific job. Week four is proving a result. The motto that drives the whole plan: proof beats a complicated demo. You don't need to build something impressive; you need to build something that demonstrably created one useful marketing action.
