Deleting everything from your phone after a breakup is a very stupid move, tactically speaking. You never know what will happen ten years from now. If you become successful, someone might try to fabricate false accusations against you, and at that point you will want evidence. So do not delete any photos. Keep everything. If you do not want to see it again, put it in a hidden folder and leave it there. That solves the emotional problem without destroying potentially important records.
