Saying farewell to sailing friends is one of the harder parts of cruising life
After returning from the tiger shark and spearfishing day, Lauren went quiet for a stretch because it was time to say goodbye to the crew of Pinnacle, close friends she had been cruising alongside. She managed to convince them to stay one extra night, and after some dock shuffling she secured a mooring ball right in front of town, the same spot she had used the year before. Steph and Lauren did a final snorkel together, the boys played off the back of the boats, and the group soaked up every last minute. As Lauren puts it, goodbyes are not easy out here, especially when it is the last one of the season for the little group. Pinnacle is now moving west.
