Lauren Landers Sailing plans about two weeks at the Tahiti airport anchorage
After completing the passage from the previous stop, Lauren Landers Sailing moved to the airport anchorage in Tahiti, roughly seven to eight miles from the first overnight spot. The plan is to stay approximately two weeks: at least one week is earmarked for completing repairs (Hydrovane bracket, jib block, sail tack) and recovering from a passage that, in her words, knocked it out of her. The anchorage is well protected and calm, and the visit also includes time with a long-time friend, her husband, and their new baby.
