Why Grokbot spins up virtual machines per agent — and why it matters
Unlike a lot of agent team products, Grokbot runs its agents in the cloud by spinning up virtual machines for each one. All of your agents effectively live on one computer in the cloud. The practical reason this matters is resource sharing and context management. When you pile a newsletter project, Twitter management, and Gmail receipt sorting into the same environment, you're adding context bloat — extra files and information that can trip agents up, slow them down, and burn through tokens toward your usage limit faster than you'd expect. Keeping projects separate, and understanding that your agents share a computing environment, helps you be intentional about what you ask them to do.
