Why agents can't 'pinky promise' — they need to prove their work
Even the best models can hallucinate or quietly admit they didn't actually complete a task if you push them hard enough. GPT-4o / Astra is praised for being among the least hallucinating models available, but that's still not a guarantee. Most models can be nudged into believing something false, or they'll write code, assume it worked, and report success without ever testing it. That's why the 'prove' step exists in this software-factory framework: the agent must demonstrate, with actual evidence, that the work was done correctly — not just assert that it was.
