What separates a marketing agent from plain marketing automation?
The agent component is that it runs on a daily cron job and includes a layer that responds to the inbox — answering questions, handling objections, and moving leads deeper into the pipeline. The blurry line between agent and automation comes down to the 'job to be done': if the system is autonomously finding leads, outbounding to them, and responding as they engage, that constitutes an agent. In practice though, a marketing agent is code plus maybe a thinking loop plus a live data stream — and nothing more exotic than that needs to be true for it to work.
