Week 1 of the 30-day AI agent plan: build one real, complete agent loop
The first week is about building an agent that can complete a real workflow end to end. Start by asking ChatGPT for one real enterprise workflow in a back-office function — finance, HR, procurement, logistics, or even sales — and get it described in as granular detail as possible. Then build an agent for it. The week covers agent looping, tool usage, guardrails, context and memory, and a full audit trail. Each topic gets roughly a day. By the end of the week, you should have a working agent with tools, guardrails, deliberate memory, and a full audit trail for one task — even if you don't yet understand that task deeply. The point is to get well-versed in the craft of building agents.
