Three value pillars for selling AI agents to enterprise buyers

By Greg Isenberg

When pitching AI agents to enterprise clients, the value proposition breaks down into three core pillars: cost savings, revenue increase, and risk mitigation. Of these, cost savings tends to resonate most strongly with CFOs. However, the pitch cannot stop there — speed and accuracy improvements also matter enormously. For example, if a company currently takes 22 to 42 days to close its month-end accounts, and you can compress that to four to eight days with greater accuracy at the same or lower cost, that is a compelling offer on its own. The goal is not simply to maintain the status quo at a lower price, but to move clients toward faster, more accurate operations — with cost reduction as an additional benefit layered on top.
