The three-vector niche formula for launching an AI acceleration services business

By Greg Isenberg

If you want to deploy an AI-native system of people, agents, and context as a service business, the move is to niche down across three vectors: industry, function, and company size. Pick an industry — commercial real estate, dentistry, restaurants (restaurants are flagged as especially hot right now because the space is fragmented and underserved). Then pick the function or team you want to support within that industry. Then define the company size sweet spot — too small and they won't have budget, too large and the sale becomes complex. Once you've locked those three coordinates, get deeply good at understanding the workflows in that niche and build the right service offering around them. You may already have an unfair advantage in one of these vectors from prior experience. The entry point could be a 30-day sprint offer or an ongoing AI acceleration engagement, with a path toward productizing over time.
