Pin your high-stakes threads and check in every 25 minutes to avoid burnout

By Greg Isenberg

When you're running many agent threads simultaneously, the temptation is to click through all of them constantly — and that will completely wipe you out. The discipline is to separate your work into two buckets: the big, important things you must ship today, and everything else. Pin the important ones. Let the smaller bug fixes and quick tasks run and circle back when you can. Then set a mental timer — roughly every 25 minutes — to check on your high-stakes threads. This gives your brain the literal rest it needs between bursts of high-judgment work. Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.
