How to build a newsletter business using Grockbot and Beehiiv
The core recipe for a niche newsletter business is simple: pick a niche, identify the best information sources for that niche — subreddits, review sites, message boards — and use agents to aggregate and editorialize. For the technical stack, a Beehiiv account handles sending, Notion is used for laying out the newsletter, and Grockbot connects to Notion via its plugins system. Twice a week, a research bot goes out to a list of sources (stored in a Google Sheet or Notion), finds stories, and fills in Notion cards with details like a short summary, publication timing, and event specifics. When a card is moved to 'process,' a Make.com automation writes the actual newsletter blurb in the desired voice. Grockbot can also write news items directly in Notion pages, making the Make.com step optional for simpler setups.
