By Greg Isenberg

The threshold for a true SaaS-pocalypse is when building something at the scale of a CRM drops from roughly 100 hours down to under 3 hours and is as easy as a fun click-and-drag interface. Until that happens, only people who can sit down and invest 100 hours — and who know how to do it — can take advantage of AI-assisted development. Even Replit and Lovable aren't at that level yet for high-complexity, enterprise-grade, highly secure software. The ease of prototyping, making, customizing, maintaining, and securing needs to be at 95% or above before mass disruption arrives.
