Do we even want to manage agents? The case for removing admin overhead entirely

By Greg Isenberg

Greg Isenberg points out that a big reason people embrace AI is precisely so they don't have to manage things — managing people is already hard. Ali reinforces this from her own experience running a 100-person org at AWS: the parts of people management she loved were empowering people, watching them blow past their ceiling, and seeing what the team could accomplish together. The parts she hated were the administrative busywork. Her philosophy is to bring that same love of empowerment into her agent workforce while eliminating the admin side of agent management entirely. The goal is to act as ambitiously as possible and help each agent break through its ceiling, not to babysit it.
