AI automation means resource reallocation, not mass layoffs
The right frame for AI-driven process improvement is resource reallocation, not mass layoffs. Companies don't want their best finance employees spending time manually routing, approving, and analyzing invoices — that's a waste of talent. Instead, those people get moved to higher-impact work: financial planning and analysis, cross-departmental roles, or building out dedicated full-time teams. Companies that want to win redistribute their resources; firing 50% of staff is not a serious strategy.
